_ Announcing the eternal resurrection of our Sister in Christ, Arlene Shader

Arlene Shader passed away at approximately 6:00 pm on Monday (11/28).

Arlene Shader: 79, was born in Drexel Hill/Upper Darby. (Delaware County Memorial Hospital) and died in Kindred Hospital, Havertown, PA. Before being moved to several healthcare facilities, she resided in Havertown, PA.  Her husband, Alan M. Shader, preceded her in death.  She is survived by two sons: Steven D. Shader and Alan W. Shader.

As Arlene's Pastor, I offer this prayer for the family:

Loving God, all hearts are open to you, all desires are known, and no secret is hidden.  I  come to you in prayer because you have already come to us first.  When you seem so far away, I  know you are closer than any person could be, even closer than my own breath, because you, by your holy spirit, are resident in my inner-most being.  I pray for the Shader and Bishop families, asking that you would give them peace and a 'blessed hope' at this time of weeping. May their be forged in the eternal promises you have made to each one who, like Arlene, has put their trust in your Son, Jesus Christ.  Help each one understand your priorities for us more clearly: Loving God, Living for Jesus Christ, and loving our family and friends more consistently.  I pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen!

Cards of sympathy and support can be sent to:   Steve Shader,  140 E Benedict Avenue, Havertown, PA  19083-2404

Details of the funeral arrangements will be emailed and posted on the www.phillydeaf.com  website when they are finalized.  At that time, we'll also give the address where flowers and/or donations can be sent.

Sincerely,

David Robb
