 Funeral Arrangements for Arlene Shader Funeral Service: Monday Evening, 7:00 pm 12/5/11 Stretch Funeral Home 236 East Eagle Road Havertown, PA 19083 ARLENE GLADYS SHADER Born in Upper Darby, Pa. on Oct. 8, 1932 Departed life on Nov. 28, 2011 Resided in Havertown, PA. Funeral Service: Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 7:00 pm Arlene G. Shader, age 79, of Havertown, Pa. passed away Monday, November 28, 2011. Born October 8, 1932 in Upper Darby, Pa. to Gladys Meeder and Clarence Bishop. In 1958 she married Alan Miller Shader, they made their home in Havertown, where she has resided ever since. She worked as a Counselor and Certified Nursing Assistant at Valley View, which is part of Elwyn Institute. Mrs Shader enjoyed collecting dolls and tracing Royal heritage. She was predeceased by her husband, Alan M. Shader and sister June Fields. She is survived by her sons; Steven D. Shader and Alan William Shader, and brother; Dale Bishop. Memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Monday evening in the Funeral Home of John Stretch, 236 E. Eagle Rd, Havertown, Pa. 19083.
