Your parents were invited to the Transformer conference in October 7 &8. There is no Kids ministry on SATURDAY. So, ask your parents to find childcare for you on Saturday so they can come to the TRANSFORMER conference on Saturday. But on Sunday there will be Kids ministry so you should come on Sunday too.

Amy taught the Bid Kids class today.
Our story title was GOD SENDS HELP from the scriptures; Acts chapters 1 thru 5 and John chapter 15. We learned that, after Jesus went back to heaven, He sent the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT to the disciples. The Holy Spirit powerfully changed their lives.
That same powerful Holy Spirit is available to every person who has become a FOLLOWER of Christ, who has made Jesus their TREASURE, who has ASKED Jesus to be their SAVIOR.

Pastor George Valco preached from God's Word
2 Peter 1:3,4
His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
"If you want to ESCAPE you must PARTAKE!" - we must participate and partake of God's divine nature through salvation if we want to escape the sinful influences of the world."
Pastor Valco referred to an illustration of Coke and 7up; if you displace the Coke with enough 7up the whole container will be clear and not brown. The "youtube" video above is a similar illustration.
More you soak in the Word of God, prayer, the promises in the Bible... sin will start falling away.
Jesus made 3 unconditional promises:
1. I will Build my church- Matthew 16:14-18
2. I will Pour out spirit- Acts 2:32-33
3. I will Come again- John 14:1-3
